Respiratory Care
Hospital care as an inpatient, surgical or emergency room patient may involve a visit from a respiratory therapist, depending upon your diagnosis. The therapist’s goal is to keep you breathing better post-surgery and during your stay in the hospital.
Our respiratory therapists can help keep you breathing freely and their treatments can help avoid the hazards of developing pneumonia as a result of inactivity. Some of our more services include:
- Aerosol treatments
- Apnea monitor
- Arterial blood gases
- Bi-level Positive Airway Pressure (BiPAP) titration
- Cardiopulmonary
- Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) titration
- Chest vest therapy
- Flutter valve therapy
- Oxygen therapy
- Pulmonary functions studies
- Resuscitation (all ages)
- Ventilators
