Respiratory Care

Hospital care as an inpatient, surgical or emergency room patient may involve a visit from a respiratory therapist, depending upon your diagnosis. The therapist’s goal is to keep you breathing better post-surgery and during your stay in the hospital.

Our respiratory therapists can help keep you breathing freely and their treatments can help avoid the hazards of developing pneumonia as a result of inactivity. Some of our more services include:

  • Aerosol treatments
  • Apnea monitor
  • Arterial blood gases
  • Bi-level Positive Airway Pressure (BiPAP) titration
  • Cardiopulmonary
  • Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) titration
  • Chest vest therapy
  • Flutter valve therapy
  • Oxygen therapy
  • Pulmonary functions studies
  • Resuscitation (all ages)
  • Ventilators
