Outpatient Treatment Services
For patients undergoing oncology or hematology services at a regional treatment center, there are tests and infusions that can be conveniently performed closer to home. Outpatient Treatment Services can provide hematology services, drug infusions, and treatment support such as port flushes. These treatments and infusions are performed on the second floor of the hospital in comfortable private rooms with the support of skilled and compassionate nursing staff.
When needed, testing is coordinated on-site to ensure rapid turnaround for results using diagnostic services including:
- Laboratory services
- CT scans
- Bone mineral density
- X-rays
- Bone scans
- Nuclear imaging studies including liver and spleen scans as well as Multiple Gated Acquisition (MUGA) scans that provide a moving image of the heart to assess cardiac function.
