Occupational Therapy

Our occupational therapy department specializes in treating patients who have physical, emotional and developmental disabilities. With our team of occupational therapy practitioners, including Coshocton County’s only certified hand therapist, we’re committed to finding ways to reduce the negative impacts of disability, illness or injury to enhance your ability to perform everyday functions to meet the needs of your daily life.

We provide programs in both inpatient and outpatient settings, to extended care residents, and to our home health patients. Our patients are evaluated and then treated with an individualized plan that may include:

  • Treatments with our certified hand therapist
  • Neurological rehabilitation
  • Static and dynamic splinting
  • Post-surgical rehabilitation
  • Upper extremity exercises
  • Scar management
  • Edema control
  • Activities of daily living
  • Home exercise program and education
