Coshocton Regional Medical Center remains committed to the continuing good health of our community and is currently focused on both the containment and mitigation of COVID-19. Appropriate resources of staff, clinical partners, space and supplies have been allocated to meet the needs of our patients, and adjustments will be made as necessary as we continue to monitor recommended CDC protocols. Working closely with local health officials, contingency plans have been put in place to ensure the safety and well-being of staff, patients, physicians, volunteers and community members who visit our hospital or clinics. To date, we have no cases of COVID-19 in our hospital.

“We are taking all the necessary precautions to protect patient and employee health” says Stephanie Conn, CEO. “We are working continuously with local health officials and continue to follow the guidance from the Ohio Department of Health and the CDC. All services remain open and available to care for our community.”

You may be concerned about news of the COVID-19 and its implications for your health and those of your loved ones. Your safety and well-being are our top priority. Please be assured that you are under no additional exposure risk by visiting our hospital and clinics. Patients should feel confident in making and keeping their appointments. This is a rapidly evolving situation and we suggest you check out the latest updates on the Ohio Department of Health’s website as well as the CDC website.

If you feel you have symptoms of COVID-19, please call ahead to your Primary Care Provider for guidance. Tell your healthcare professional about your recent travel and contact. Patients that seek care and exhibit symptoms of the COVID-19 virus after being evaluated by health care professionals at the guidance of local health officials and the Ohio Department of Health, will be tested to confirm their symptoms. If you have additional questions, contact the Coshocton County Health Department or call the Ohio Department of Health COVID-19 hotline at 1-833-4ASKODH.

We continue to have visitor restrictions from this year’s regular Flu season. We ask that only immediate family over the age of 18 years of age that are flu-free come to visit patients.
