Effectively March 24, 2020, Coshocton Regional Medical Center will be implementing
the following visitation restrictions and precautions in an effort to
ensure the safety and well-being of our patients, staff and our community.
Visitation restrictions at Coshocton Regional Medical Center have been
no visitors allowed. Exceptions will be made for patients at the end of life, patients
under the age of 18 and disabled patients.
Coshocton Regional Medical Center is also postponing all elective surgeries
following an order from the Ohio Department of Health. By postponing surgical
procedures, hospitals can reduce the risk to patients and providers, conserve
critically short supplies of personal protection equipment and preserve
inpatient beds and equipment. Critical surgeries, such as those saving
a patient’s life, preserving the function of organs or limbs, reducing
metastasis or progression of a disease or reducing severe symptoms will continue.
If you feel you have symptoms of COVID-19, you are encouraged to call our
Nurse Hotline at (740) 623-4019. A separate outpatient Respiratory Screening
Center has been set up at 406 South 15th Street for those who feel they
have symptoms of COVID-19. Hours are 10am-6pm; Monday-Friday (hours subject
to change). If you are experiencing symptoms outside of these hours, call
your primary care provider or call our Nurses Hotline. Individuals that
do not exhibit COVID-19 symptoms and do not meet criteria will not be
automatically tested for COVID-19.
Coshocton Regional Medical Center remains committed to the continuing good
health of our community and is currently focused on both the containment
and mitigation of COVID-19. For updated information, please visit our
website at coshoctonhosital.org or our Facebook page.
