Workplace Health and Wellness Services

Occupational Medicine is designed to work in partnership with employers and their employees to advance the health and safety of a company’s workforce. Our occupational medicine clinic services include:

  • Care, management and follow-up of workers compensation injuries
  • Timely employer reports of employee status following treatment of workplace injuries
  • Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals
  • Employment post-offer physical examinations
  • Return to work physical examinations
  • OSHA-required exams including:
    • Bloodborne pathogen exposures, education and follow-up
    • Hearing conservation (audiometry)
    • Medical clearance for respirator use; pulmonary function testing
    • Medical surveillance for hazardous materials such as asbestos, lead, etc.
  • Physical examinations including:
    • Annual employee physical exams
    • Independent medical exams
    • Disability evaluations
    • Executive physicals
  • Drug/Alcohol screening
    • Breath alcohol screening
    • Urine drug screening
    • Medical Review Officer (MRO) services
  • Immunizations
    • Seasonal Influenza
    • Hepatitis B
    • Tetanus
  • Physical and occupational therapy services referrals and follow-up

Additional testing services are also available in include:

  • Audiometry
  • Electrocardiogram (EKG)
  • Pulmonary function testing
  • Vision screening

The Occupational Medicine Clinic is located at 1523 Walnut St., Suite 1, in Coshocton. Clinical provider Jessica Lorenzo, FNP-C, is available by appointment Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Walk-in service is available for drug and alcohol screenings and minor workplace injuries.

For severe injuries, employers are instructed to call 911 or escort their employees to the emergency room for treatment.
